Where to use it
SALU I brings a distinctive brass detail to kitchen cabinets, dressers, wardrobes and smaller cabinet doors. Its organic shape sits naturally in the hand and works intuitively as a furniture knob.
Surface and care
Each SALU I is finished by hand, making every piece slightly unique. Brass is a living material: it oxidises over time and develops a natural patina that gives the surface more character.
Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaning products that may damage the surface.
The design story
SALU I was inspired by the chanterelle—an organic form that is both strong and delicate. The mushroom’s natural shape sits comfortably in the hand and works intuitively as a furniture knob. Nature’s flowing lines and rich detail are translated into brass, bringing a fragment of the forest into the interior.
Each knob is cast in a small batch in Estonia and finished by hand. The result is an object that brings together nature, craft and a lasting material.
